SAMPLE RECIPE
Go for the Gold Garbanzo Soup
2 Tbsp. OIL
1/2 cup diced CELERY
1/2 cup diced ONIONS
1/2 cup diced GREEN BELL PEPPER
1 clove GARLIC
1/4 tsp. CHILI POWDER
1/4 tsp. OREGANO
1 Tbsp. fresh CILANTRO
5 cups WATER
1 Tbsp. powdered CHICKEN BOUILLON
1/4 cup uncooked RICE
1 Tbsp. chopped PIMENTOS
1/2 cup GREEN CHILE SALSA
1/2 cup GARBANZO BEANS
1 1/2 tsp. CORNSTARCH
1 AVOCADO, diced

Sauté celery, onions, pepper and garlic in oil. Add chili powder, oregano, cilantro and cook for 2 minutes. Add water and let come to a boil. Add next five ingredients. Cook for 25 minutes at low simmer. Thicken soup with cornstarch dissolved in cool water. Simmer 5 minutes more. Serve, garnishing each bowl with diced avocado.
Serves 8.

BACCARAT - In this game if the cards dealt to you add up to 8 or 9 you have a winning hand (a 'natural'). If the total points of your cards add up to 10 or more, only the last digit is counted. For instance: two fives (10 points) = 0. A five and a seven (12 points) = 2. Tens and face cards = 0.
